At the foot of the highest mountain in the world live Sherpa people. They are known for their success helping people for climbing Mount Everest (8,848 meters). Without them, it’s very difficult to imagine the Everest region could develop into a natural tourist areas that attract thousands of tourists and hundreds of climbing Mount Everest every year. Sherpa people are living in an area called Solu Khumbu.
Apa is the name of the climber, underweight and with a laughing face showing typical Sherpa people. He came from Thame village in Solu Khumbu region. Village at an altitude of 3800 meters is the highest settlement in the Solu Khumbu. From this village, the citizen of Sherpa is Tenzing Norgay and Ang Rita.
Tenzing Norgay is one of two first person to summit Everest. Ang Rita Sherpa who became the first man to climb Everest ten times. Apa, has climbed beyond Ang Rita’s record that is climbing Everest eleven times.
Tenzing Norgay, Ang Rita Sherpa and Apa Sherpa has been bearing the nickname virtually ever British colonial poor across the Indian subcontinent as the Snow Tigers.
Snow Tigers, is due to their legendary ability to look alive on the earth’s highest mountain. When the British people aspire to be the first to summit the world they took Sherpa tribe in the south of Everest. It turned out that the Sherpas are the mainstay.
